How to Help
Thank you for your interest in the Rockhill Tenants Collective!
As tenants, our goal is to help each other by sharing information and getting the administration to address the issues of general interest which we are documenting on our web site.
You can help in a few different ways depending on your availability and interest:
- Participate in the monthly meetings we organize for all tenants, where we share the information we have and receive feedback on problems and priorities. This is a good forum to bring up issues of general interest and get advice or solidarity from other tenants. There is no cost or registration needed, all tenants are welcome
- Send an email or register with the mailing group clr-rtc@googlegroups.com to receive information between meetings or that can't be on the web site
- Send us an email with photos and descriptions of problems for us to put on the site and bring up with the administration, or with information of general interest to share with the other tenants
- Volunteer with the organization of the group. This is mostly about helping document the tenants's priorities, writing up articles and updates for the web site, and meeting with the administration about once a month to follow up on the issues and propose solutions. We also do some promotion of the organization and its goals so for someone with a lot of friends in the buildings this can be a very useful role to play. To get started, talk to us at the next live meeting or send us an email at clr-rtc@googlegroups.com
- Suggest other means of action and help us improve our ability to make the administration do the right thing. You can talk to us at the next live meeting or send us an email at clr-rtc@googlegroups.com
- Talk about us to your neighbors: in unity there is strength!
